Six wedding guests laughing around a table with microphones and headphones, under a tent strung with lights.

Some moments are meant to be heard.

A Wedding Podcast experience that captures the stories, voices and memories of the people who lived the day with you.

Weddings and destination weddings in Guatemala

Not every memory can fit in a photograph.

A wedding is full of conversations that end when the night does. The story of how you met, told by the friend who was there. The advice nobody asked for. The way your grandmother laughs.

Most of it is never recorded. Much of it, you never even get to hear. Whats Behind makes a place for those conversations and keeps them.

What is a Wedding Podcast?

A Wedding Podcast is a guided conversational experience at a wedding where friends and family share stories, memories, advice and messages that are professionally recorded and transformed into a lasting episode for the couple.

At your wedding we build a set that belongs in the room. Your guests sit down, alone or together, and talk. Afterwards we shape those conversations into an episode made to be heard again: privately, or on Spotify and YouTube if you choose.

You don't need to listen to podcasts. It is simply the form the memory takes.

Experience today

A seat at your wedding where the stories get told.

No stage, no speeches, no performance. Guests step away from the dance floor for a few minutes, sit down and start remembering. The microphones are there; within a minute nobody notices them.

A bride laughing and a groom smiling at her as they walk along a garden path at night, holding champagne glasses.

A set that belongs in the room.

We coordinate its place and size with your planner and venue, so it sits naturally within the celebration: close enough to wander into, quiet enough to talk.

What it gives you

Preserve the voices that matter most

The laughs, the pauses, the way each person tells a story. Kept exactly as they sounded.

Discover stories you've never heard before

Your guests know chapters of your story that you don't. This is where they finally tell them.

Give your guests an unforgettable experience

Instead of posing for one more photo, they take part. They sit down, they talk, and they become part of what you keep.

Relive your wedding for years to come

On an anniversary, on a long drive, on an ordinary Sunday. Press play and you're back in the room.

Photography remembers how it looked.

Video lets you see it again.

Whats Behind lets you hear it again.

Three ways of keeping the same day. We work alongside your photographer and videographer, never in place of them.

How it works

A process designed to feel effortless for the two of you.

  1. 1. Before the wedding

    Discover

In a Story Session™ we get to know your story, the people who matter and the relationships worth exploring.

  2. 2. Before the wedding

    Design

We design the experience and the questions. Not generic ones: the ones that open real stories.

  3. 3. On the day

    Converse

Family and friends sit down for guided conversations at the Whats Behind set.

  4. 4. After the wedding

    Narrate

We select, structure and edit what was said, so it becomes a story rather than a pile of recordings.

  5. 5. After the wedding

    Preserve

You receive an episode made to be heard now, and to mean more each time you return to it.

Legacy tomorrow

One day, these voices will mean everything.

Today

It is a conversation. Your friends telling the story of how you two met, each with a different version.

In one year

It is a tradition. You open a bottle, press play and hear the day again.

In ten years

It is how everyone sounded back then. The jokes, the accents, the way your father tells a story.

In twenty-five

It is a chapter of your life, in the voices of the people who lived it with you. Perhaps someone who wasn't born yet hears it for the first time.

Today, a conversation. Tomorrow, a memory.

Choose how much of the story to keep.

Questions couples ask

What is a Wedding Podcast?

A Wedding Podcast is a guided conversational experience at a wedding where friends and family share stories, memories, advice and messages that are professionally recorded and transformed into a lasting episode for the couple.

How does a Wedding Podcast work?

Before the wedding we meet with you for a Story Session™ to learn your story and the people in it. On the day we install a set at your venue and guide conversations with your family and friends. Afterwards we edit the material into an episode and deliver it according to your Collection.

Does it replace wedding photography or video?

No. It is designed to complement them. Photography and video preserve how the day looked and moved; Whats Behind preserves what people said.

What if our guests are shy?

We don't ask anyone for a speech or a performance. It is a conversation, guided with specific questions, and taking part is always voluntary. Guests can sit down alone or with friends, whichever is easier.

Do guests need to prepare?

No. The preparation is ours. We arrive knowing who matters and what to ask.

How much space does the podcast setup require?

It depends on the venue and the Collection. Before the wedding we coordinate the set's location and size with you, your planner and the venue.

Can the episode remain private?

Yes. Publishing is your decision. Signature and Legacy include publication on Spotify and YouTube if you want it, and a Private Library is available as an add-on.

Do you travel for weddings?

We are based in Guatemala and work at weddings across the country. If you are marrying somewhere else, tell us where and we will let you know what is possible.

Do you work with destination weddings in Guatemala?

Yes. Destination weddings in Antigua Guatemala, Lake Atitlán and Guatemala City suit this well: everyone has travelled to be there, and there is a lot to say. A bilingual host is available as an add-on for multicultural families.

When do we receive our episode?

Story is delivered in four weeks; Signature and Legacy in three. Priority delivery in one week or in three business days is available as an add-on.

Can our wedding planner coordinate directly with Whats Behind?

Yes, and we prefer it. We work with your planner on timing, placement and logistics, so there is nothing for you to manage on the day.

Do we need a big wedding?

No. The value is in the people and their stories, not in the guest count.

How is it different from an audio guest book?

An audio guest book collects separate messages. A Wedding Podcast is prepared in advance, guided as a conversation and edited into a story.
